A fun game with smooth controls and a nice look.
Tokyo Xtreme Racer Advance is quite simple in structure as you only drive around the ring roads of 'Tokyo,' 'Los Angeles,' and 'London,' additionally, the many cars are not licensed (no real car brands), but these cars can be customized both mechanically and visually.

One advantage of the highways is that the game is much calmer to play as you have more space to drive, which might make it seem boring, but the races along the way change that perception.

The game takes place in an "open world" which is quite large, races start by challenging another car, and what's fun about it is that you can decide who to challenge.

The races are referred to as "battles" where the goal is to fill up your points bar before your opponent does, this bar is similar to a progress meter for the distance you have covered from the starting point, the races last about a minute, making the game easy to pick up and put down when needed.
