During the game, you will come across cans, glass jars, gears, radioactive rods, and mice with 3 ears in The Sims: Bustin’ Out. You can pick these up. You can then sell them at VirtuChem, but be careful, because the prices change every day at 00:00AM! For example, the price of a radioactive rod fluctuates between 75 and 200 simoleons. So, you want to sell it when it's at 200 simoleons.
For a mission at the end of the game, you need to have 30 cans, so don't sell these too much, otherwise, it will take a lot of time to collect them again!
