Practice Makes Perfect
It took me a while to start enjoying The Pagemaster. The mechanics of the game are definitely not the easiest, especially in the beginning. However, as you get the hang of it and improve in killing and avoiding enemies, the game becomes more and more enjoyable. It was particularly challenging because you die instantly if you get hit by an enemy. This can make the game a bit frustrating. But if you manage to kill one of the enemies, you often receive a special item that prevents instant death. This, along with getting better at knowing where the enemies are, makes the game easier (and more fun). In short, The Pagemaster is very difficult and sometimes frustrating at the start, but once you get into it, it's a fun game with fitting music.
