2 games, twice the fun! A Link to the Past is a game that gives you double the fun! Play 4 Swords together with your friends (Link Cable required!). Unfortunately, I can't do this anymore, but no worries! You can also play A Link to the Past on your own.
In this game, you have to put an end to Aghaghim's plans. At the same time, you also have to defeat his alter ego, Ganon. Make your way through temples, palaces, dungeons, and caves while solving puzzles. There are also plenty of cool items like the hookshot and the Cane of Somaria. Are you ready for this thrilling adventure? And will you manage to save Hyrule? I give this game an 8, because it's a shame that you need at least 2 players for 4 Swords.

Excellent Port with Timeless Gameplay and New Multiplayer Option The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the Game Boy Advance is an excellent port of the SNES classic from 1991. The game retains the timeless gameplay, the beautiful world, and the challenging puzzles of the original, but adds some new features, such as the Four Swords multiplayer mode. This addition makes the game even more enjoyable, especially when you can play it with friends.
In A Link to the Past, you play as Link, who has the task of saving both the world of Hyrule and the dark parallel Dark World. The top-down gameplay, the mix of sword fighting, and the interesting puzzles in the vast world to explore make this one of the most beloved Zelda games. The addition of the Four Swords mode, where you can play with friends, is really cool. It is important to know that you need at least 2 players and a GBA link cable to experience this extra adventure.
The transition to the Game Boy Advance is excellently done. The colourful graphics and the immersive, iconic music shine on the GBA as well. For me, it is a joy to replay this classic on a handheld. All in all, A Link to the Past on the Game Boy Advance is a must-play for both new and old Zelda fans. It perfectly combines nostalgia with accessibility, and the addition of the multiplayer option makes it one of the best Zelda experiences on a handheld.
