The best street fighter on the GBA!
I find Street Fighter Alpha 3 a very enjoyable game due to its fast-paced, and at times thrilling gameplay. I am happy to say that this version on the GBA is just as good as the other versions.
Only the very big fans will notice a difference, the controls. Everyone knows, of course, that most "home consoles" and arcade machines had many more buttons than a GBA, which makes the controls quite limited. But if you just, like me, occasionally enjoy a round of Street Fighter, you can confidently purchase Street Fighter Alpha 3. However, one other issue that I find annoying is the lack of a versus mode for 1 player. In this game, your only real single-player option is the story mode (which is still a lot of fun). The number of characters is impressive though, and it's great fun to play against a computer-controlled character in this game, which is a remarkable feat by the Alpha 3 creators. All in all, I give this game an 8.5!
