The ultimate Pokémon experience for Gameboy Color.
Pokémon Crystal is the enhanced version of Pokémon Gold/Silver where, for the first time in the series, it's possible to play as a female character.

The biggest change compared to Gold/Silver is that the sprites in battles are animated, making the Pokémon in this game much more lively. Also, a 'battle tower' has been added where you can have consecutive Pokémon battles.

Please note, this game can only be played on a Gameboy Color up to Game Boy Advance SP, so it's not compatible with older models (Pokémon Gold/Silver are suitable for those)!

The improved version of Generation 2!
After I finished playing Pokémon Gold and got addicted to the story, I also bought Pokémon Crystal. For those who are not familiar: Pokémon Crystal Version takes place in Johto and begins in New Bark Town, where you can choose between the starter Pokémon Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. Like every Pokémon game, gyms must be challenged and badges earned to participate in the Pokémon League. Throughout the quest, interesting stories unfold, including many elements from the storyline of the old versions of Red, Blue, and Yellow. An example of this is the resurrection of Team Rocket, which had been defeated in the older versions.

This version is almost the same as the Gold and Silver versions. However, Crystal has been improved in several aspects. Pokémon now move at the start of a battle, certain colors have been made brighter, and most importantly: the story revolves around the legendary Pokémon Suicune! In this version, the story has also been adjusted at certain points so that as a player, you come into contact with Suicune more and eventually can catch it in the Tin Tower instead of through roaming, as in the Gold and Silver versions (which saves a lot of time XD). Additionally, like Gold and Silver, it also has an epic epilogue, where Kanto can still be fully explored.

Better than Gold and Silver
Pokémon Crystal version is a game with a very captivating, but above all, exciting story. You play as Ethan or Kris and start in New Bark Town. At the beginning, you can choose between: Chikorita, the grass-type Pokémon, Cyndaquil, the fire-type Pokémon, and Totodile, the water-type Pokémon. The goal is to catch other Pokémon with Pokéballs and defeat the 8 gym leaders. After that, you will have to face the elite 4 and the Johto Champion. But beware! During your adventure, you will sometimes have to battle your rival. Team Rocket is back too! And they will try to execute their wicked plans again! Stop them! After defeating the Johto Champion, you can return to the Kanto Region. There, you can defeat the 8 gym leaders as well. Then, you can go to Mount Silver. There, you will be able to challenge the former champion, Red, to a battle. A long adventure that is both exciting and captivating!

Umbreon and Espeon are both evolutions of the Pokémon Eevee that you can obtain in a special way. You need to level up your Eevee when it has high "Happiness." Your Pokémon gains this by engaging in many battles. You'll get Espeon if you do this during the day and Umbreon if you do this at night. Good luck!
