Moderate retro platformer with frustrating controls
Adventure Island might still appeal to die-hard retro platformer fans, but I've played better ones.
In this platformer, you play as Master Higgins, who must navigate through various levels filled with enemies, obstacles, and traps to rescue his beloved. The game offers classic platform action where jumping, running, and collecting items are central. The graphics are quite decent for the Game Boy, although the controls felt a bit imprecise and dampened the fun for me.
